Lower the Cost of Living
Reduce the tax burden on residents, review the state budget line by line, root out waste, and make essential goods and services more affordable.
Republican for Hawaiʻi State House · District 23
Hawaiʻi cannot solve the cost-of-living crisis without rebuilding a stronger, more self-sufficient economy. Victor Muh is running to lower costs, expand homeownership, strengthen local businesses, and restore accountability in government.
Lower the cost of living. Build an economy local families can thrive in. Make government earn the public’s trust.
Meet Victor Muh
Victor has spent much of his life building, adapting, and starting again, often with very little.
After living and working for 25 years in Austria, France, and China, he returned to Hawaiʻi with a broad perspective on how government, culture, and economic policy affect everyday life. He learned resilience by rebuilding from scratch in different countries and communities.
At his human optimization clinic, Superhuman, Victor looks for the root causes of health and performance problems instead of merely covering symptoms. He would bring the same disciplined, results-focused approach to the State Legislature.
A practical agenda
Focused on the pressures local families feel every day and the structural changes Hawaiʻi needs for the long term.
Reduce the tax burden on residents, review the state budget line by line, root out waste, and make essential goods and services more affordable.
Expand pathways to homeownership, streamline approvals, and support models such as ALOHA Homes and Hale Kamaʻāina for local working families.
Grow local food production, manufacturing, and exports while removing unnecessary barriers that make it harder to start and operate a small business.
Require realistic fiscal analysis for legislation, strengthen ethics and disclosure rules, and make public decisions easier for residents to track and understand.
Support effective law enforcement, safer neighborhoods, constitutional rights, and policies that hold repeat offenders accountable while respecting due process.
Focus schools on strong fundamentals and measurable outcomes while improving the economy so parents have more time and resources to support their children.
Hawaiʻi’s problems are connected. We cannot lower the cost of living without growing a stronger economy, and we cannot rebuild trust without a government that is transparent, accountable, and focused on results.— Victor Muh
District 23
Victor will approach public service as a citizen representative: accessible to constituents, willing to hear disagreement, and guided by facts, constitutional principles, and the long-term well-being of the people he serves.
He will communicate clearly about major votes, explain the reasoning behind his decisions, and work across differences when doing so produces a better result for District 23 and Hawaiʻi.
